I am an 18 year old app developer from Swindon, United Kingdom currently working at a company which specialises in ASO (App Store Optimisation).
At secondary school, I was taught the programming language Python in Computer Science lessons which is where my love for programming stemmed from! The first programs I developed were very basic GUIs and had a limited set of features! I then went on to study Software Development at college.
At the end of 2015, I decided to teach myself how to create iOS applications using Swift - a relatively new programming language created by Apple. A few months later, I released my first application for iPhone: AllergyMe. A month after doing so, I featured on various local news sites, allergy specific news sites and then local BBC News (Points West & South Today) and local BBC Radio (BBC Radio Wiltshire). This app was and still is very personal to me as I have always suffered with a severe peanut allergy. Initially I developed the app as a starter project for me to use personally on my iPhone and Apple Watch but decided others could benefit from such an app which is how AllergyMe was born!
Since releasing my first app, I have gone on to create more than 25 other apps available on iOS as well as watchOS, tvOS, macOS and Android. These apps have been downloaded a combined total of over 70,000 times at the most recent count, with the UniClip iOS, watchOS & tvOS app being the most popular at 20,000 downloads! All of my apps can be found by going to the 'App Projects' tab above.
